How to add your own music/sound clips into the object:

Copy the whole paragraph of UUIDs, create a notecard and paste in. Rename the notecard to the title of your music/sound clips. Put the notecard into the object, then click the object, choose Reboot.




For example:

Notecard name: ABCDEFG

Our script will ignore anything else before the | mark so you can just copy/paste the whole paragraph.



How to make your own music/sound clips:

There is a program called WavePad Sound Editor: https://www.nch.com.au/wavepad/index.html

And it’s the easiest way to cut sound clips for second life so far I found.




Open your music(for example a .mp3 format music) , right click in the main panel, choose Split->Split into Equal Parts.

Duration: 9 Sec <<<Please use exactly 9 second, this will be a standard for all sound player made by [sau]

Output format: Encoding: PCM Uncompressed, Format: 44100 Hz, 16 Bits, Mono

You only need to setup this thing once. After that, click Split and it will split the music for you.

They’ll be renamed like music_00.wav, music_01.wav……..

You can use bulk upload to upload them.

Right the the sound clips you uploaded, choose Copy UUID, and you can start pasting them in order.
